The 19th Annual Bartenders' Ball Presents 'Fire and Ice'

Get ready for the Annual Bartenders' Ball, one of the most exciting social events of the year, and a highlight of the winter social calendar in Saratoga County. Over the last 18 years the Ball has generated almost $500,000 for local charities; this year proceeds will support Wellspring, formerly Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis (DVRC).

Everyone knows that February in Upstate New York can be icy, but on February 6, 2016, the Saratoga Springs City Center will be hot, as we present the 19th Annual Bartenders Ball, 'Fire and Ice.' Dress to impress in a cool white, an ice blue, or a fiery red! The evening will feature dinner, gambling tables provided by by the Lions Club of Saratoga, and dancing to the live music by the Audiostars.

COST: Only $60 per person, tables of 10 encouraged.

Starting Monday, February 8th, join us at the School of the Arts for Yoga Flow. In yoga flow, students will be guided through a well-balanced vinyasa yoga sequence aimed at developing strength, stability, and improving flexibility. Expect a series of dynamic movements lead by breath, allowing the mind to focus and the body to release. All levels welcome. Modifications will be offered and encouraged. This class will be taught by Agnes CR, a registered yoga teacher RYT200.

Classes will be held on Mondays at 7:30 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 am. Join us for a free class on Monday, February 8th and Tuesday, February 9th!

Start working on your New Year's Resolutions and get out and enjoy the Preserve & Park with others looking to get outdoors! Our wellness walks are meant for both gentle exercise and for enjoying nature. It is good for people of even the most basic fitness level. Meet at Parking Lot #1 on Scout Road where the trail to Camp Saratoga North begins. The walk will be about an hour and will cover about a mile and a half of gently rolling terrain. Preregistration is suggested but not required. The program will not take place in inclement weather. If snowshoes are required they will be available for rental for $3.00 per person or free for members of the Preserve & Park.

The show features local artists whose work is inspired by the region's working landscapes. It takes place in the historic barn at Maple Ridge, 172 State Route 372 in the hamlet of Coila, just west of the Village of Cambridge.

Artists generously donate 50% of the proceeds to supports ASA's farmland conservation work.
